Stay Healthy & Well in Retirement
Explore all of the ways that The Admiral at the Lake helps its residents make wellness a priority and live life to the fullest.
Fitness Center
Fitness equipment including stationary bikes (upright & recumbent), treadmills, and ellipticals, along with a variety of strength machines are available to residents 24-hours a day.
Fitness Classes
The most popular fitness studio classes among residents include those for strength and balance, mindful breathing, aerobics, and core workouts.
Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi
Residents at The Admiral at the Lake can enjoy the whirlpool or participate in aquatic classes within our heated indoor swimming pool. Our rehabilitation provider is now certified in Aqua Therapy and offers aqua therapy 5 times per week.
Wellness Center
The Admiral has an on-site wellness center that has a steady rotation of Chicago’s top physicians for our residents to get care without needing to leave the building. Services include an Audiologist, Clinical Psychologist, Dentist, Dermatologist, Diagnostic X-Rays and Ultrasounds, Lab Services, Nurse Practitioners, Dietitian, Optometrist, Orthopedic Clinic, Pharmacy, Podiatrist, Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist, and a variety of support groups.
In addition, the Admiral offers an on-site caregiving agency, outpatient physical therapy, and HealthPro offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and aquatic therapy to all residents of the community.
